Man is Herbivores

Chapter 1
Man is Herbivores

God created man as an herbivores living being. But god gave him a highly developed brain. Using this brain, man learnt to make fire and cook meat. So we now consider man as omnivorous for he is able to digest both plants and animal products. But we rarely see man eating raw meat. In fact we look down upon the cannibals who eat raw meat. Man’s teeth are not designed to cut raw meat like the teeth of a carnivorous animal.
Man has an erect structure as compared to the chimpanzee that has a bent structure. Due to the erect structure, man does not need his hands to walk. Using the combination of intelligence and hands, he soon learnt how to make tools using bones and wood. He made arrows to kill animals for consumption. Using these tools he made, he was able to protect himself from other animals that attacked him. Soon he became the most advanced form of living being due to his intelligence and dominance He is capable of eating both plants and animal products though herbivores being eat mainly plants, fruits and vegetables.
An omnivores living being eats both plants and animals as its main food. God created the crow and pig for example as omnivores animals. Most bear species are considered as omnivores but we find that bears living in snow covered areas eating only meat since there are very few plants growing in such areas. But the panda living in the forest eats mostly bamboo and is herbivores. Thus we see that the animals have to adjust to their surroundings to survive.
God created tiger as a carnivores living being. Carnivore means ‘meat eater’. It can needs up to 7 kilograms of meat per day to survive. The lion has sharp teeth and strong jaws, using which it can kill the animals for food. These teeth are not designed to eat plants. Even their digestive system is such that they cannot digest plant material as efficiently as the herbivores. But some plant material is needed for adequate nutrition especially minerals, vitamins and fibre. The carnivores get this from the stomach of the animals they eat. Some carnivores are known to eat the dung of herbivores to get the required nutrition.
There are some carnivores plants like the Venus fly trap that capture insects and digest them.
Since god created man as an herbivores being, the best food for man is fruits and vegetables. Some people think that meat eating makes man strong. Look at an elephant. It is herbivores and eats only plants. And yet it is so strong that we tame it to do heavy duties for us. A proper diet of fruits, vegetables and nuts can easily give man all the nutrition to live a healthy life. In this way we need not kill any animals for our survival.
A vegetarian diet is said to reduce the risk of so many diseases like cancer, heart attack, BP, diabetes and so on.
