ANTIOXIDANTS
Every
human wants to look young and beautiful. Scientists are trying their best to
find an answer to immortality. But till now they have not succeeded. The next

are naturally occurring nutrients found in all fresh fruits, vegetables and
nuts. Antioxidants protect our cells from damage and attack from diseases. They

looks so beautiful because of the orange colour. Beta-carotene in carrot is
responsible for the orange colour.
Beta-carotene belongs to a group of chemicals called carotenoids.
When carrot
enters our body, the beta-carotene present in it is converted into vitamin A. Vitamin
A is very good for the eyes. Consuming good amount of vitamin A can reduce the
risk of cataract, heart diseases, retinal cancer and bladder cancer. It
strengthens the immunity system of the body and keeps diseases away. Vitamin A
fights with the free radicals which damage the cells of our body.
Beta-carotene
is found in carrots, squash, sweet potato, spinach, broccoli, cabbage and
sprouts. You can even avoid pimples if you take enough of these fruits and
vegetables.
